Who is Kyle Dennis and What is Option Rocket?
Kyle Dennis runs BiotechBreakouts.com where he offers multiple trading programs for his students: Sniper Report, FDA Insider Alerts, Option Rocket, and Nucleus. The cornerstone of his initial trading success was a unique strategy he developed and refined known as Biotech Catalyst Swing Trading (hence the website name – Biotech Breakouts). But Kyle has diversified his trading approach over the past few years to capitalize on opportunities and teach students how to generate returns in much more than just biotech stocks.
Option Rocket is his newest program where he seeks to enter high conviction positions with the goal of 100%+ gains on each trade. His approach is designed to leverage the massive potential that the options market can offer within a relatively short period of time in order to exponentially grow his portfolio. In just a handful of years, Kyle has already taken a $15,000 portfolio and turned it into well over $4,000,000. But he wants to climb over the $10,000,000 mark in cumulative gains quickly with the help of his latest “profit bucket”.
How Kyle Dennis Plans to I.G.N.I.T.E His Own Trading Profits and Help You Do the Same:
Kyle Dennis spends the bulk of each trading day scanning and analyzing the markets for high-potential opportunities, which allows him to swiftly pinpoint lucrative trades.
With his new Option Rocket program, he developed the I.G.N.I.T.E trading system which guides his decision-making process by making sure he considers the following six elements – Insiders, Growth, News, Institutions, Technicals, and Earnings. The one additional element he considers is volume to make sure the trade is liquid enough to easily get in and out of.
From there, he’s able to calculate a score for each potential trade from 0-100 based on all of these factors collectively. In most cases, only the potential trades with scores of 90 or higher are executed.
Using Kyle’s I.G.N.I.T.E approach, here are the key “ingredients” for a highly successful options trade:
INSIDERS
Insiders are the high-profile individuals within a company like Directors, Presidents, CFO’s, and CEO’s who understand the inner-workings of the companies they’re working for. Obviously, these people have a better view of the overall health and future potential of these companies. So when they choose to buy and sell company stock, it can sometimes tell a story. If a handful of insiders are buying large lots of company stock, it might be a sign that they’re optimistic about the company’s future. On the contrary, if they’re selling large lots, it might be a sign of pessimism This research can be done by looking at Form 4’s, which are required to be submitted with the SEC.
GROWTH
Growth refers to revenues and profits. If history tells us that a company’s earnings have been up-trending over the past few quarters or years, then we might feel more comfortable trading that stock. Rather than a company with earnings that have been down-trending, which isn’t ideal from a fundamental standpoint. It’s a rather basic piece of analysis, but would you rather put your money into a company that continues to prove it’s worth over the course of time or one that has consistently underperformed? When financials continue to improve each reporting period, it gives traders and investors something to get excited about, which can potentially cause run-ups into earnings. These are opportunities that Kyle aims to capitalize on with regularity.
NEWS
News is pretty straightforward. There’s no doubt that certain events can cause large price changes in stocks. Take biotech stocks, for example, which Kyle trades all the time. If you’re familiar with how the industry works, you know that the drugs companies are producing have to go through specific stages of approval – Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3, etc. When these data releases take place, which provide us with information on the effectiveness of the drugs, the results can potentially cause 50%+ increases in stock price on good news or 50%+ decreases on bad news. These are huge swings that can substantially impact portfolios one way or the other, so it’s critical to have an understanding of not only past news events, but potential future events that can drastically move the stock price.
INSTITUTIONS
Institutional buying and selling is another component of the research process that Kyle looks at prior to each trade. Similar to how Kyle wants to know what kind of insider buying and selling is taking place, he also wants to know where institutions are putting their money. These are large funds with quite a bit more money, tools, and personnel than the average retail trader. In other words, they have far more resources at their disposal than you and I, and if their research is telling them to build positions in certain stocks, then there must be some merit to their actions. These funds are required to report their buys and sells each quarter on a 13G Form filed with the SEC, which Kyle tracks closely using J3SG.com.
TECHNICALS
Technical analysis is what allows Kyle to look at candlestick charts on order to identify price trends and patterns. By looking at these charts, he can pinpoint critical areas of support and resistance, and decide on where he wants to enter and exit each trade he takes. He plays reversals off double bottoms, breakouts above double tops, fibonacci retracements, bull flags, cup and handles, etc. Many times, companies go through cycles depending on the month, season, or other reasons, so charts can help you see a visual representation of the price movement and market sentiment. Overall, technical analysis provides insight into the price action of a particular stock over virtually any time period you choose, and ultimately, price is the only thing that pays in the stock market.
EARNINGS
Earnings is very similar to the “Growth” element mentioned above, but the importance can’t be understated. The reality is not only that earnings provide insight into the overall health of the company, but they are consistent catalysts that occur every single quarter. As traders, we have to research the historical trends of the companies we’re following of beating and/or missing earnings. And it’s not always as simple as you think. It’s all about expectations. Just because a company reports a loss of $10 million in a quarter doesn’t necessarily mean the stock price will fall as a result. If people were expecting a loss of $20 million, this would actually be “good” news and considered an earnings “beat”. Understanding context is imperative.
Are You Ready For Your Portfolio to Blast Off With Option Rocket?
Option Rocket is a relatively new service offered by Kyle Dennis, but if his success trading stocks translates into the options market, then I can only assume huge profits are on the horizon for not only him, but his devoted students as well. In under five years, Kyle has already taken a $15K Portfolio Into Over $4M and only time will tell the impact that his new options strategy will have on his overall results. But I think it’s safe to say that the $10M cumulative profit mark isn’t all that far off in the future for him thanks to the market expertise he has amassed paired with the leverage that the options market can provide.

Over the years I have spent a lot of money trying to find the right service. The service who can speak to me in terms I understand and gives me that “aha” or “ya I get it” moment. Well Kyle has given me that kind of service over and over again on Biotech Breakouts by his personal perspective and style and his natural teaching abilities that is the reason I had no reservations whatsoever signing up for his Options I.G.N.I.T.E. I can honestly tell you that if you take some of your hard earned money and invest it and yourself into one of Kyle’s services it will be the beginning of one of the best investments you could ever do. – Howard W.

Trading is this very foreign thing to me and I don’t even know where to start with the lingo at all. I’ve been somewhat interested in learning about it and Option Rocket sounds good I guess. But for 4,000 dollars and not a clue, I don’t know if I would even make that money back. I’m not questioning too much, but if he can make you hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars how come everyone isn’t doing it?
Hi Stew – great question. Everybody’s not doing it because it takes more than simply subscribing to be successful in the markets. Not enough people understand this concept, but merely subscribing to a service means virtually nothing. You have to be committed to learning and developing your trading skills to ultimately become self-sufficient and consistently profitable. Think of it like a gym membership. Lots of people have memberships, but only the ones that actually go and put the work in actually see positive results. There’s absolutely no guarantee of success, but the tools and information Kyle Dennis provides can certainly be helpful if used correctly. For beginners, I would suggest checking out these free resources to learn more about Kyle’s style of trading first.
I enjoyed the IGNITE acronym and research process. This seems like an excellent venture to go into. It is a venture where everybody has the opportunity to build the income and lifestyle they want. Everyone does have the potential to be a winner in the market if they approach it correctly.
Hi Todd – stock trading is certainly a venture that can provide some major income and lifestyle benefits, but it also takes hard work and discipline. Everyone has the potential to be a winner, but it doesn’t often happen because of the knowledge and mindset required. So you’re exactly right when you speak of the potential rewards if “approached correctly”. The majority of individuals want to skip the learning phase, not bother gaining experience through paper trading before risking real money, and simply look for the easiest possible method for attaining quick riches. Unfortunately, the quicker people try to make money in the markets, the longer it takes them to find long-term, sustainable success. Consistent profitability and self sufficiency can only be achieved by learning trading concepts, and most importantly, cultivating the Proper Mindset. That’s why I think it’s great that Kyle offers potential members so many Free Resources.
I am learning some about this topic but I still feel like a young colt trying to learn how to walk when I read about it. Thanks for sharing information and I saw one of your comment replies as well which made a lot of sense. The comment reply was about not blindly following, but instead learning what goes into the process.
Trading can be a very lucrative online venture if one masters the art. Just like anything else, it’s always wise to network with, or at least follow in the footsteps of known experts. Kyle Dennis happens to be one renowned trader as I have heard of him many times before. If your article is anything to go by, Kyle’s Option Rocket is going to take trading by storm and I would like to lock in my spot asap. Thanks for this information and best regards.
Although I don’t have any expereince in this area, I do have a keen interest in investing online. But because of my interest, I’ve also come across scams like The Brit Method that promised quick riches from a small $300 – $500 investment in Binary Options. But luckily, after reading so many negative reviews, I chose not to flush my money down the toilet.
But it’s great to know that Option Rocket is 100% legitimate. It seems this Kyle Dennis has done extremely well for himself, and it’s highly successful people like him that we can learn the most “golden nuggets” from.
I like the sound of his IGNITE approach because learning to be a success is a LOT easier when the strategy is broken down into specific components. This comes from his experience as an trading educator and mentor.
Tell me, how much is Kyle’s Option Rocket service and how long do you think it would take a newbie like myself to make my first $1K using the options strategy? Will the amount of time depend on a numer of variables?
Hi Neil – Option Rocket currently retails for $3,999 per year and member results will vary based on a number of variables. Sure, Kyle sends out all of the options trades he enters and exits through text and email, but trying to blindly follow him in and out of his own personal trade ideas without a proper understanding of technical analysis, fundamental analysis, and the psychological aspects of trading is just doing yourself a disservice.
A lot of people want to be spoon-fed picks, but taking that approach is simply an effort to transfer accountability from you to somebody else (in this case – Kyle), which isn’t good. Every trader needs to have an in-depth understanding of their approach, be able to create their own trade plans, cultivate the proper mindset to manage emotions/risk, and most importantly be 100% accountable for their own trading results.
With that foundation of being completely focused on the educational and psychological aspects of trading, long-term results for members will typically be much better. Individuals focused on “overnight riches” almost always fizzle out without any success. The end goal should always be consistency and self-sufficiency, which can only be achieved through hard work and refinement over time. This goes for individuals looking to join any trading service or program out there, not just Option Rocket.
Portfolio sizes, strategy preferences, availability during market hours, and risk tolerances, among other factors, can vary drastically from person-to-person, so your own approach has to fit into that. How quickly someone can make $1K can be extremely misleading because it can potentially happen in mere minutes without any research or knowledge on trading.
Let’s say I had a $10,000 portfolio and entered a trade using all of it. All I need is a 10% move to make a $1,000 profit, which can happen quickly in the options market. But doing that wouldn’t necessarily make me a good trader. Using my entire portfolio on just one trade is a recipe for an account blowup. And did I even understand what the major support and resistance levels were before entering? Did I have a stop-loss area in mind? What reasons did I have to enter/exit the trade?
Long-term consistency and profitability requires proper asset allocation, risk management, and an overall disciplined approach. Being able to throw money around blindly and potentially win big on trades without doing any work (just clicking some buttons) is actually what makes the market so dangerous. It reels people in by making them think that trading is “easy”, but then eventually their account dwindles down to zero due to lack of knowledge, non-existent risk management, and irrational thinking. Anybody can get lucky on any given trade, but the real test of a trader is in long-term consistency, which is the result of risk-managed trades and discipline.
Option Rocket With Kyle Dennis sounds very interesting indeed. Thank you for a very comprehensive review.
I used to day trade cryptocurrency in the past, but I ended up spending 20 hours a day online and was becoming a computer addict.
I know this kind of trading can be very profitable if you have the correct training. Do you know the actual cost of his program? Does he have any testimonials of success? It would be great to know what others thought of the program before looking further.
Hi Tim – Kyle’s Option Rocket service currently retails for $3,999/year. But I’d be on the lookout for holiday sales coming up at the end of the year with Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years right around the corner. No guarantees, but that’s typically the time when Kyle will offer some nice discounts for both new and current members. You can check here for some Testimonials on Kyle Dennis and Biotech Breakouts.
It’s nice to find a trading system or technique for once that is not based on the Forex markets, but on companies and stocks/options instead! How do you think this stands up against other market techniques around at the moment?
Hi Chris – the beauty of this service is the high-potential upside on these options trades. Some of the losses are larger than your typical 10% or less, but when you hit winners with this approach they can be 50-100%+ in relatively short periods of time. If you hit enough winners, they can more than make up for a handful of losses. There’s not much else out there that can provide that kind of unlimited upside and minimal downside. The portfolio swings with this approach can be a bit more volatile, but the large potential gains are appealing.
Recently, I went to a seminar called Millionaire Success Habits by Dean Graziosi. I expected the seminar to go over the principles from his book, and surprisingly, it went over day trading.
They talked about a few of the principles that you mentioned by Kyle Dennis. In fact, I heard them talk about the importance of having information about the insiders, growth, news, and technicals, but I don’t remember them mentioning anything about institutions.
I think an advantage of this program in comparison to what I saw at that seminar is the inclusion of the institutions component. It sounds like that would be a valuable addition.
Have you seen the day trading training that Dean Graziosi is promoting at his seminars? Have you been able to compare Option Rocket with that program? Did you notice that institutions was a difference between the two also? I’d love to hear your feedback.
Hi Tiffany – I actually haven’t heard of Dean Graziosi before so I can’t compare his programs/seminars to Kyle Dennis and Option Rocket, but it seems like they both teach and implement similar concepts in business and day trading. For Kyle and his Option Rocket program specifically, those are the six factors he looks into before making any particular trade – insiders, growth, news, institutions, technicals, and earnings. If things don’t line up in most or all of these areas, he’ll pass on the potential trade. But when the “stars align”, he’ll take advantage of the opportunities. His experience has shown that these categories are the most critical to research when it comes to executing successful trades, and he’s proven that through not only his Option Rocket service, but FDA Insider Alerts, Sniper Report, and The Nucleus as well.
Kyle became a mentor and hero to me with all his stock and options trade strategies. These days with all the market scandals and issues in the world, many people are scared, discouraged and skeptical to invest. Kyle kind of takes all of these feelings away with his educational content, watch lists, live trading sessions, reports, and overall guidance. Thank you so much for letting us know that someone is out there playing clean, not dirty. To our success!
I actually joined one of the so called ‘trading’ gurus and ended up being scammed. I still get calls from it constantly. So, I couldn’t help but be skeptical while reading this article as well. But it’s great to see that Kyle has done so well and created a wonderful platform to help others succeed as well. Have you found that his methods are helpful? I’m considering diving into it but still unsure.
Hi Parmi – I’ve definitely found his methods helpful. I think he’s one of the most transparent traders and educators out there. I’d suggest checking out His Blog at Biotech Breakouts for free video lessons and other educational materials. That will help you gain an understanding of his methods in order to decide if any of his services would be a good fit.
Hello, very interesting article on Kyle’s option trading strategy. I like how he breaks it down for us beginners who are not so investment savvy. I thought his approach would be confusing and hard for me to understand, but that was not the case. I didn’t know much of anything about stocks/options until I read this article and visited Kyle’s blog.
Thanks for the wonderful article. It was very informative. I’ve read a lot about trading. This one is very interesting to me because it talks about igniting those profits that come out of trading. It seems like an excellent venture to go into. While it takes hard work to learn and execute, everybody has the opportunity to build the income and lifestyle they want. Everyone has the potential to be a winner in the market.
