Thomas Kralow Futures Trading Brokerage Statements [2018 & 2019]:
Thomas Kralow was an extremely active intraday trader over the course of 7 years (2013-2019), during which time he executed over 20,000 trades and generated over $9,000,000 in net profits. This averages out to nearly 3,000 trades and $1,300,000 per year.
Based on these stats, it’s clear that Thomas Kralow has quite a bit of market experience under his belt. But for those wondering, “where’s the proof?” – Thomas Kralow has disclosed his monthly futures trading brokerage statements from 2018 & 2019 (see below).
2018 & 2019 were the last 2 years that Thomas Kralow was trading futures for a living as his main source of income. He’s still actively involved with markets through various projects/businesses, but in recent years he’s largely transitioned away from day trading.
Some people wonder why he stopped day trading for a living if he was making so much money – and his honest answer is that he was worn down by the stress and loneliness of it. He wanted to take his expertise in other more creative and social directions.
That’s when he created and launched his first big business project – University Grade Trading Education – which is a 5-month long program designed to transform students into consistently profitable, professional-level traders. It’s been a massive success.
Since then, he’s launched a number of income generation courses/programs/services through his Kralow University platform.
Details of Thomas Kralow’s Trading Track Record Broken Down Into Months:
Below are Thomas Kralow’s monthly gains/losses directly from his futures trading brokerage account statements in 2018 & 2019. The 2 main futures products he traded were DAX (German stock index) and Dow (American stock index) contracts.
Figures in chart are in euros (EUR) and rounded to the nearest dollar.
2018 Performance (EUR) | 2019 Performance (EUR) |
---|---|
NET PROFIT: EUR 610,862 / USD 720,817 |
NET PROFIT: EUR 867,275 / USD 971,348 |
You can find the monthly trading reports where I pulled these numbers from at Thomas Kralow.com (Performance Disclosure).
These numbers do come up short of the $1.3M average annual gains I mentioned at the beginning of this article. But from what I understand, that’s because the $9M+ total profit number takes into account some longer term stock and crypto investments as well.
For simplicity, he only shares his 2018 & 2019 statements showing the results of (what was) his main approach – intraday futures.
The Major Question – Is Thomas Kralow a Scam or Legit? (My Perspective)
Anytime somebody shares impressive brokerage statements and/or decides to sell a trading course, program, or service – there will always be skeptics, haters, and naysayers. And in many cases, rightfully so. There’s a lot of nonsense out there online.
But in my personal opinion, Thomas Kralow isn’t a scam at all. He definitely has a few flashy advertisements and social media posts that don’t necessarily appeal to me. But through my experiences with his professional trading program, he’s the real deal.

The fact that he no longer day trades anywhere near as much as he used to isn’t a negative in my eyes. In fact, I think it makes his program stand out within a sea of low quality alert services and chat rooms. The main focus is actually on you – the student.
Most other trading programs/services turn into monkey-see, monkey-do (meaning hundreds/thousands of subscribers aren’t there to actually learn/train; they just want to copy a “guru”). But blind, copy-cat trading is ineffective and downright dangerous.
Thomas Kralow’s trading program, on the other hand, actually supports student development through hundreds of video lessons, homework assignments, tests/quizzes, and rounds of demo trading. It’s a real, immersive training experience.
The end goal is for each student to develop legitimate competence/skill and create their own personalized “trading algorithm”.

I have heard of Thomas Karlow before from some of my friends who trades! They have said he is legit as they come and he does teach some valuable lessons! I do agree with you however that as a long time trader to stop trading is kind of fishy. A leader has to lead from the front.
Hi Lorenz – thanks for sharing your thoughts!
I do understand why Thomas Kralow no longer actively day trading himself (at least not as much as he used to) is a common complaint. There’s definitely something to be said about a trading educator/mentor who is in the trenches every single day with his students and “practicing what he preaches” (like Aaron Korbs at Tradacc, Josh Schuler at Trade With Profile, and Merritt Black at Apteros Trading – just to list a few examples). These guys teach specific methodologies and are living embodiments of those methodologies on a daily basis. But I think there’s also something to be said about letting students go through a structured learning program and rounds of demo trading themselves in order to develop on their own. I think it’s important to have a balance between the two. Because a lot of people buy courses/join trading communities with this nonsense idea that they can just blindly copy some guru’s trade alerts/signals and automatically be successful – and it just doesn’t work that way. In fact, I think it’s incredibly dangerous to operate within financial markets without a requisite level of competence/skill. A lack of self-sufficiency is a recipe for disaster. So if anybody out there is dependent on somebody else to feed them ideas or plans, then they need to realize that they’re not real traders. The point I’m trying to make is that Thomas Kralow’s course allows students to have the support of a structured learning program (and even personalized feedback if they want/need it), but also allows you to develop on your own (through homework assignments, quizzes/tests, refinement through rounds of demo trading, etc.). It’s not a copy-cat community like a lot of other lousy trading services are. The focus is on your own individual development – and if approached correctly, can be highly beneficial.
The two main reasons I don’t have much of a problem with Thomas Kralow not day trading anymore (but still selling a program focused on day trading) is because 1) he had seven years of trading success in which he captured over $9M in trading profits before even considering creating a course, and 2) he’s extremely transparent about his reasons for transitioning away from active trading and how much he makes selling courses. He was making a lot of money actively trading (averaging around $1M per year), but trading takes its toll. It’s a time-consuming, mentally draining, and oftentimes lonely/isolating endeavor. Staring at the screens 10-12 hours per day as large positions fluctuate in and out of your favor isn’t the “glamorous” aspect of trading for a living that all the gurus out there tend to share. The income potential is certainly there, but it’s difficult. So I understand why he wanted to transition his initial day trading success into something more creative and social (like creating courses, a hedge fund, and other business projects). It’s easy for people who aren’t in his position (of day trading for a living, 10-12 hrs per day, for 7 years) to have all kinds of opinions about what he should or shouldn’t do – but whether or not you agree with what he does – he’s very open/honest about all of it.
