Benzinga Pro – Get Access to the Best Real Time Stock Market Newsfeed For Retail Traders:

Once you have the core skills required to operate consistently and profitably within the market environment, robust features like the ones offered within Benzinga Pro can take your success to an entirely new level.

The truth is that retail traders are at a major disadvantage. Not only do they typically lack the knowledge and skills required to trade properly, but they lack the actionable data necessary to make solid decisions. It used to be that only the hedge funds and other institutional traders had all the best information, but Benzinga Pro has greatly reduced that gap for the average retail trader.

What is Benzinga Pro - Top Rated Stock Market Newsfeed

It’s no surprise that many of the best traders I know use Benzinga Pro on a daily basis – for building watch lists, monitoring unusual options activity, running scans based on specific technical and/or fundamental data, and much more. Unlike a Bloomberg Terminal, for example, Benzinga Pro was built with the retail trader in mind. Not for hedge funds – but individual traders like you and me.

That’s one of the reasons why I think the Benzinga Pro platform is so powerful. Because they take constant feedback (good or bad) from their user base, and consistently develop and refine tools that fit our needs. There are so many other trading platforms and tools available online today, but there’s no doubt that Benzinga Pro is easily one of the best out there.

Please leave any of your thoughts or questions concerning the features, discounts, or anything else Benzinga Pro-related below.

I really appreciate a trading platform like this. For starters you offer great insight into Benzinga Pro. But on top of that they off great features which can be experienced by anyone for free for 2 weeks. How great is that!?! I think free trials really helps people like me understand firsthand what the platform is all about and if it’s worth paying for. Benzinga Pro is definitely worth trying and I look forward to testing it out for myself.

I’m a huge fan of free trials as well (in general, but specifically in relation to Benzinga Pro). The free trial provides an all-access look at the platform so that anybody interested can test it out on their own. Unfortunately, free trials are actually quite rare within the trading space. Some platforms offer low-cost trials, but usually there aren’t any trial opportunities at all. So anybody interested in Benzinga Pro should be taking full advantage of this. No credit card required to sign up either, so it won’t automatically start up a premium subscription once the trial is over in case you forget about it or aren’t really interested after all – which is another plus. Come back to let me know how it worked out for you after testing it. Take care!

With the stock market always seeming to be on the edge these days, it’s more vital than ever to stick to resources that truly help traders and investors stay ahead of the game. I’m well aware of Benzinga’s reputation and they are definitely worth the time and money for those who take stock market trading seriously. This is an especially great platform for active traders who are moving in and out of positions quickly.

I feel like I have learnt a lot through your site about trading. I’ve always wanted to get into trading but have been very skeptical about joining any program as I don’t know exactly how it works and I feel like you’ve made it feel like its something anyone can do.

I’m most definitely going to be coming back to get some more information. Or maybe think about joining Benzinga Pro. When you first started what were your main points that you were wary about? and how did you overcome them?

    • Matt Thomas says:

I appreciate the kind words. I think trading is definitely something anybody can do, but not without hard work and dedication. In the beginning, the vast majority of people approach trading the complete wrong way – and I’m no exception. I started out looking for shortcuts – browsing the internet for newsletters and alert/signal services that I could blindly copy. And since I didn’t know any better at the time, I thought these types of services would actually work – without me really knowing much at all about trading. This is what MANY people do and it pretty much never works out.

After a few years of this fruitless search, I finally accepted the fact that long-lasting success as a trader comes down to having certain skills. There are buying and selling (like technical & fundamental analysis), risk and money management, analytical, and mental skills that you need in order to obtain durable success in the markets. It’s not just about luck or gambling like most people treat it. It’s a skill-based peak-performance endeavor, much like becoming an elite pilot, surgeon, musician, athlete, or many other professions are. The difference between successful and unsuccessful traders is that successful traders are structured, disciplined, patient, and consistent. They have rules, plans, and systems that they stick to. Unsuccessful traders, however, are disorganized, impulsive, impatient, and inconsistent. They either lack or fail to follow their rules, plans, and systems. In essence, they choose short-term emotional gratification over long-term success (much like someone who plays slots at a casino). They’re in it for the thrills and excitement, as opposed to capitalizing on a statistical edge with consistency.

If I were to start my trading journey over again today, I would completely avoid trade alert/signal services for a program that offers legitimate training. These programs aren’t going to spoon-fed you “hot picks”, but rather provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary for self-sufficiency. Taking the trade alerts route seems so enticing, but trust me when I say that it’s mostly just a waste a time. I would opt straight for a program like Thomas Kralow’s University Grade Trading Education or Chris Capre’s Trading Masterclass and Advanced Traders Mindset Course at 2ndSkies.

I wouldn’t necessarily jump into a subscription for a robust tool like Benzinga Pro until after acquiring the proper foundation of core trading skills. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out!
